Audience feedback

For my audience feedback i handed out 18 questionnaires, mainly to teenagers my age at my school, i had no spoiled questionnaires and they were all filled out properly. The large majority of people admitted they were fans of music and seemed to be keen on the ideas of plenty of photos, and seemed interested in an interview. Below i will look more deeply at the responses i received.

Are you a fan of indie music?

14/18 people said they were a fan of Indie music, with the other 4 not really knowing exactly what it was, they also seemed to be fans of the more rap/grime/trap scene.

Do you often purchase magazines?

On the whole people said they do not purchase magazines very often, and didn't really seem to interested in them, this is largely down to the fact everything is on the internet. 11/18 people said they did not purchase magazines very often.

How much would you pay for a magazine?

10/18 people said they would pay £3.00-£4.00 for a magazine, with 5 opting for £2.00-£3.00. The original price i was going to set for my magazine was £3.50 which now seems like a reasonable price in which the customers will happily pay for my magazine.

Do you have a favourite artist, if so who?

For this question i recieved a whole host of different answers, the more common ones were 'Catfish and the Bottlemen', 'Oasis', and 'The Kooks'. This has prompted me to do some research into these bands and them featured more havily in my magazine, 

 How often do you listen to indie music?

For this question most people answered either 'Everyday' or 'Quite alot'. This shows that doing an Indie genre magazine will be a good idea as people are clearly interested in the genre. 

What is one thing you would like to see in this magazine?

For this around about 15 people answered pictures, this means that in my magazine i will include plenty of photos as that is clearly what the consumers are interested in.
